It's uncouth and rude for him to react that way, but it's not strange to see that much age difference between a couple. He's definitely not the only one who has been offended. Some except anyone, no matter what their age is, to want to date them. I'm sure it's not uncommon to see people dating with that much of an age difference, but it's a personal preference. While I don't necessarily have a set age range for dating.. I find that with a bigger age gap, the less we'll have in common and the more likely we'll be at completely different points in our lives. |

that he was a bit too old for me to date. Apparently he got offended and said I was a shallow b1tch. I really don't understand the point of being offended if someone isn't interested in dating because of a big age difference. I'm sorry. I just don't like hearing that I'm too old.

Yes, I agree. There are lots of angry people out there. And, if me saying I prefer to date someone a bit closer to my age was enough to set him off, I'd hate to see how angry he'd get about anything else.
