True, but coming onto a site like this expecting it to be ONLY for dating is very much like expecting a whole grocery store to ONLY sell milk.

If you don't follow the flock like most others have the tendency to (viewing this as a site simply for dating, nothing else -- kinda like going to a grocery store to buy a steak), it's not ridiculous. By considering a site such as this to be ONLY for DATING and THAT'S ALL, you're only setting yourself up for disaster. I've said this so many times, yet people refuse to listen. They still insist on considering it to be a "dating site". You know I think you are fabulous.......but this is what is says on the Home Page. "Welcome to the best free dating site on the web." |

Semantics. It's not like somebody can join here and expect "dates" to fall into their lap. Jeez, ain't that the truth! Took me almost a year to find a date worth repeating. However, I do think most people new to all this do join because it's a dating site, and that's what they are looking for. Some call it friendships, some call it dating.......but they are after the same thing, companionship in the opposite sex. |
