I can't find a decent treadmill for less than 300. Well, the walmart website has a nice manual treadmill for 130, but they don't carry it in the stores. Grrr... if anyone comes across a second hand one or whatever for less than 100 please let me know. I hate to discourage your exercise program, but any treadmill less than $1,500 is pretty much junk. See if you can purchase a good used one, perhaps for $400-$500. Otherwise, try running outdoors. You can buy the best pair of running shoes for $100. |

Sign up on your local Freecycle list. Sometimes you'll get lucky and find someone giving away decent fitness equipment.

You also might want to check your free nickel adds or even put a small add in the local paper.
You might be surprised at what you find. I know I did that a while back for something I wanted and I got overwhelmed with calls. But before you buy a treadmill check out a stairmaster. |

Not true, I've seen really good quality treadmills for around 250-300, thats why I'm fully okay with finding a good condition used one from that original price range. I used to have one that was about 300 but got desperate to pay bills and had to sell it. I'll find one...lol, I'm determined. And for the ppl who keep saying to walk or run outside: that would certainly be my preference if I weren't afraid of being run over b/c we have no sidewalks and people here can't drive! |
