Topic: Help. Looking for Base Guitar Midi Files

Hi,

I’m looking for midi sound files with bass guitar tracks. Either jazz,
blues, folk, or rock.

The tracks can be with or without drum accompaniment.

I need to have them in a midi file format so that I can upload them into
a sheet music program. I want to add my own melody and rhythm guitar
tracks to create my own pieces for a small group.

I thought I just toss it out here in case anyone knows anything. I’m
currently doing Google searches but so far I’m just not finding what I’d
like.

I’d also be interested in any midi files with instruments containing
two-guitars, a bass, and drums. I’m hoping to get together with some
friends and play this music live and those are the instruments we have
to play with.

Thanks in advance for any information.

heya,

What program are you using for composing?

I'll put in some links, but you might already have them...

Thanks Nene.

I'm actually looking for midi files of just the bass guitar alone. Like
maybe from a site that teaches bass guitar.

I use Finale Notepad to write music. I can load in multiple instruments
though and just erase everything but the bass and start from there I
guess.

But I was kind of hoping to find some clean solo bass. Or bass with
drums only.

Thank doc! And Nene too!

Lots of good stuff here. I have an old dial-up connection so it's going
to take me a while to sort through all this but I've already found some
interesting stuff among your links.

I think this will provide me with what I'm seeking.
