offend you if someone regifted your gift the same yr you gave it to them? Depends on what I gave the person. If it took time, thought and effort I'd be upset and hurt. |

I thought there were regift rules to prevent that.

nope...I gave it to them so it is theirs to do with as they please. After all, maybe the one they gave it to would get more use and enjoyment out of it than they would. I get far more enjoyment out of giving than worrying about what happens to it afterwords

No, I'd take it as a compliment as anyone I'd give a gift to would know it's better to give than receive.

offend you if someone regifted your gift the same yr you gave it to them? If they regifted it to me using the same wrapping paper, probably. |

No it doesn't bother me. My family had a set of really ugly bronze ducks. They got rewrapped and passed around to all family members over a 30 year period. Like a gag gift bad joke.

offend you if someone regifted your gift the same yr you gave it to them? Nah once I wrap it and put their name on it; it is theirs as far as I am concerned. They could do what they want with it. I gave the gift for the joy of giving period. |
