Yeah. Was freaking bawling in front of him, completely confused as to why he was doing it and when he couldn't give me an honest answer I left. Then got so baked I couldn't hold a single thought for more than like 5 seconds.

There were a couple others (long term lovers - committed relationships), even though it was always me who did the breaking up because they and/or the relationship were not healthy or safe for me and mine. I had a hard time ending. I would not say that I begged "them" not to leave. I would say I had a hard time ending the relationship. There is a big difference.

The reason? It was because of the illusion of "what might have been"; even though consciously/objectively, I knew that was a fallacy that could never come to pass because of their personal character flaws.
