What has caused you to fall out of love with someone? 1. A growing realization that they had the intellect of an amoeba. 2. A growing realization that their entire relationship agenda was based on a secret plan to "domesticate" me. 3. A growing realization that they were, underneath the nice looks, boring as hell. 4. Discovering they had lied about drug and alcohol use. 5. Chronic dishonesty in other areas. 6. The understanding that they were only there because of what I could do for them. |

A growing realization that they were, underneath the nice looks, she wasn't on the same wavelength intellectually and financially. 4. Chronic dishonesty in other areas. It's a good thing I know when she's lying otherwise I would have been dazed and confused about how she could accomplish the impossible. 5. Brought drama to the table over super meaningless subjects. (i.e. That girl over there hates me because she looks at me funny when I say hi [even though the girl she says hi to always looks funny]) |

Hasn't happened, I wouldn't know. Then again I believe love is eternal and I also believe I've never been touched by a hand that's truly loved me.

First time, it was just the mere fact that we were suitable to be friends, but not husband and wife.
The second time, I didn't realize I was in love with him until it was over. Sad, huh? |

I still love everyone I've ever loved, even though it's changed from active to passive, I still wish them the best.

I still love everyone I've ever loved, even though it's changed from active to passive, I still wish them the best. I just know the difference between love and co-dependence. |

This is a good start, Lex I hope you don't mind the plagerism. I changed it a bit. 1. A growing realization that they had the intellect of an amoeba. 2. A growing realization that their entire relationship agenda was based on a secret plan to control & "improve" me. 3. A growing realization that they were, underneath the nice veneer, mean as hell. 4. Discovering they had lied about past relationships & criminal charges. 5. Chronic dishonesty in almost everything. 6. I think this may help some of us understand that we really do have some "common ground" -- not in the sense that our experiences have been identical, but there ARE some similarities!! |

I know that it's comon to become fed up with a loved one's behavior, but I don't believe that true love ever really dies.
If you truely love someone, and you believe that person would rather be with someone other than yourself, then you should be happy to let them go be with that other person. Oh sure, your feeling will be hurt to find out such a thing, but if you really love that person, your main objective will always be for their happiness and well being. |
