men and women are alot alike ,you just have to find the one thats right for you...
somewhat like a puzzle you pick up a piece and you see if it will fit ,sometimes the corners are round when you need them to be flat,so you pick up another one and try again..and eventually if youre lucky in the sea of pieces you find the one that will comfortable fit into the picture of your life...puzzle complete....aw forget it i have no idea what the phuck i just said...noway:laughing:

Jtree43, I understand what you're saying, but equal communication is not difficult when it's done openly and honestly.

So, why is that men don't have the ability to properly communicate their feelings? Why is it easier for them to completely lead someone on instead of being upfront about everything, especially when that is all that has been asked of them? Why is it easier for them to tell a woman what they think "she wants to hear" instead of being honest? I don't understand why men like that are members of dating websites. All of us have a hard enough time finding a special person that is honest and genuine, so why must they make it all that more difficult? Please enlighten me!

How long did it take you to survey every man in the world so you could make that sort of blanket statement?

I mean....please, somebody who knows me, tell me I don't have the ability to properly communicate my feelings....!!

By equal communication you are saying that most men are lying to you or not being forthcoming in the answers they give?

Women are just as bad as men. It really comes down to the individual person.

we dont communicate well because we are tired of being "Compared" to every other man on the planet, instead of being accepted for who we are as 1 individual man.
Unfortunately, we do the same thing at times so it is indeed a 2 way street, both of us going the wrong way, in the wrong lane, and the women choking up the intersections at gametime with questions we either cant or just dont want to answer.

I hope I have helped to clear this up ....a little...

Any question can be answered. Sometimes a simple, "I don't know" is all that needs to be said. And if a man doesn't want to answer a question, what does that imply to the average woman?

Women are compared to each other just as much as men are.

I think guys communicate fine, just in their own way. It might take a little effort on our part to understand what they are trying to say, (just like when they are trying to understand our communication process), but in the end we finally get it.

But for the ones that say only what you want to hear, either they are a player, or maybe they are telling you what you want to hear just to keep you hanging on until they find something better.

Sometimes, you have to take a little extra time into reading between the lines. Things aren't always as they appear, and it's always good to question something when that gut feeling of yours is screaming "something isn't right here".
I will admit that there are a lot of men and yes women too that do not know good communication skills.. there is a book called the five love languages writen by Gary Chapman.. I would suggest everyone read it.. you can see where men and women do not communicate... alas I can only speak for myself I do not belong in that generalization... that men can't or won't communicate......

Implies you may have hit a soft spot?? and of course women are compared to other women and men are compared to other men. How many times do women get frustrated with a man and say, "MEN" and vice versa. We transmit on two different frequencies and have many common tones, it's simply a matter of finding a mate that uses the right tones to make smooth communication and interraction between the two of you. Personally, I communicate very well I'm just a little too honest.. gets me in trouble some times smile2

Oh come on now, most typical women who get the answer of "I don't know" or if he doesn't want to answer the question, won't settle for that. We just keep prying until he gives us what? The answer we want to hear!

If we would just accept the answer that he gives us and move on, then there wouldn't be any communication problems. But we as women, feel the need to make it more complicated!

Not saying this applies to all women, but most of us are that way. It's just our nature. We think there has always got to be an answer for just about every question asked.

Some people just drive on different interstates..... lets face it All People have communication problems in some way... we all think we make sense, but rarely take the time to see if the other person actually gets it.

First of all I have to gently chastise you for lumping all men together. I find in all honesty that most of the time communication is a two way street. It takes good listen skills along with the verbal skills. I honestly don't believe anyone can be played unless they allow themselves to be. I also don't understand why a person can't be direct and concise stately exactly what they mean and mean what they say. With my male friends the main complaint they have againest woment is we can't seem to say something with out all the words. Keep it simple and to the point.

In closing I have to say I have several male friends and I love to converser with them they are quite articulate witty and funny. So maybe, you might need to look at yourself and see if you have good listen skills. Not bashing just trying to give another take on it since there is some great advice in here.
