I'm alone for Christmas this year for the first time... ever. Just wondering how many of you are in the same boat and what you plan on doing.

i am alone this christmas too, i plan to spend xmas eve with my parents, something i havent done in a very long time. this girl i am kinda seeing invited me to their family xmas eve gathering, i just didnt feel ready or comfortable in doing that. if ya need someone to chat to mail me.

I've spent the last six years doing Christmas solo. I'm used to it, so it doesnt bother me. And I don't really celebrate it anymore so...it's just another typical day for me.

Maybe this thread was a bad idea. I didn't want to dredge up all the angry Christmas hating folks. Why don't you go to church for Christmas? You'll be around people then and hearing the old Christmas songs. |

nah its a good idea to ask stuff like that. i just separated with my wife the first of oct. so i got a blast of all the holidays all at once being on my own again, she had a lil boy so now im trying to get used to adult holiday ways ib=nstead of child ones

You'll be around people then and hearing the old Christmas songs. I kind of have a plan. If I really feel like going out I have a friend who lives about 3 hours away. She's alone for Christmas too, so I may go over there. |

This is my 5th year without a partner during the holidays. I spend my time with my 2 girls. They make the holidays a happy time! Merry Christmas to all!!!!

I have a friend from this site that will be working on Christmas. His family is in another state and he just moved to a new state. He said he will be alone. I feel bad.
 I want to see him.

It could be worse. i hear ya man i used to spend it with my exs family and she had 2 sisters and a brother so there was a bunch of people so we had a lot of fun. guess its time to look at all the old memories in my rearview mirrior and look forward to the new year of new experiences. where do you live anyhow? |
