 Amuse Bouche: Alaskan King Crab "Nachos" King crab with Wasabi Lime Avocado Sauce and fresh cilantro on fried wonton crisps Appetizer I: California King Rolls with Ginger Soy Chili sauce Traditional egg rolls stuffed with King crab, Asian slaw, Mint, and beer-braised Fennel Appetizer II: Drunken King Crab Legs Alaskan King Crab legs steamed whole in Arrogant Bastard Ale with garlic and lemon served with drawn butter for dipping Entree: Stuffed Halibut Roulade w/ Drunken Rice and creamed Broccolini Served on a marinated Portabella cap with a Sun-Dried Tomato Buerre Blanc Desert: Belgian Beer Floats A big scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream floating in a Belgian Raspberry Lambic Beverages and Beer-Pairing: Saki Bombs and Ommegang - Three Philosophers (Belgian Quadrupel Ale) edit: Oh I so cannot wait for Thursday...

Damn, I take some pretty food pictures...
Also I skipped the eggrolls and dropped the drunken rice and rocked out with my Lobster Rissoto instead...Mm Mm MMMM!  And steaming the legs off in the Arrogant Bastard was a verrrrry good call. Thanks again Kim, it was a feast! edit:the Pics seem to be malfunctioning, I'll try posting them again. |
