Topic: Why is it so hard to tell the truth?

I don't understand people that continue to lie to the point that they believe they are telling the truth. Are people that full of themselves that they just don't care anymore? What happened to good old fashioned honesty and caring about others feelings? Oh-btw-no reason for this rant tonight-no one has lied to me tonight that I know of. LOL!

I don't know. Denial, perhaps? Pathological? ....or maybe they are just sociopaths. There are as many reasons for same as there are liars.... And, we often lie to ourselves, too. Or, enable other people to lie. That's just as messed up.
