I want to donate my body to science
|

I may sign up for donation at the body farm near the UT-Knoxville
campus. Really "ooky," I know, but it plays an EXTREMELY important role in criminal forensics and I'm a HUGE proponent of justice for crime victims. |

I mentioned here before about an ex BF of mine having lost his only son
(22) due to a car wreck. Because he turned over his body for organ donation, he made a significant difference in the lives of five people. A year after his death, we all gathered at the mausoleum where he is intombed and they showed a slide show of his life, from the time he was a baby until a few weeks before his death and, at the end, it included interviews from the people who received his organs, thanking his parents (and "him") for what he had done for them. There wasn't a dry eye in the place. |
