It isn't necessarily about liking to talk about self...because I'd rather be learning about the other person. That said, it's also probably a bad sign if they never ask and/or don't care to find out anything about you, which usually entails talking about yourself at least a little.

Sometimes, but I'm really more of a listener. I learn a lot more about a person by listening than by asking questions or talking about myself. It really is true that you learn most of what you really need to know about a person's character in the first 15 minutes of meeting or talking for the first time. Trust your gut....and act.

It's an exchange of information. You talk about you, she talks about herself. Who else is gonna tell her about me? My 4 armed ex's in the booth next to ours certainly won't say very nice things about me.
