 We got along and laughed alot. Attraction was there, too. And I made dinner at my place...
Maybe it's a girl thing to go out and have lots of fun, buy napkin rings for our dinner, inexpensive but funky appetizer plates and have a seafood dinner that we both like.
He said, I'm only a construction guy and your used to these things, I'm not. (well, isn't that the point?) Enjoy it then let's proceed with our evening, eh? P.S., he disappeared after that evening, came back nine months later and after a nice evening with his family, two years later! There was a female there, I found out. His "ego" came back after two years and I got calls even early in the a.m. I never picked up (caller ID is a nice thing.) I emailed him and told him I won't be a jack@@$% x 3. That's the end. Bye.
The reason for my post is, you got to keep these guys at an arms length for a very long time until you're sure of their issues. Keep your heart safe at all times, if you can. Be funloving, a good date and good company but hardening up is part of survival mode. Fortunately, dating can be fun! It's fun to laugh and explore and see stuff.

Keeping your heart safe at all times can also backfire and cause loneliness. Taking a chance now & then is necessary to keep the heart from going bonkers, don't you think?
