poisoner of waters,
polluter of air,
mass murder
of all species,
including his own.

Socrates’ rational
creature --
yet Nietzsche’s insane
creature –
the product of reason
severed from the earth’s
greater wisdom,
the deeper ecology
from which all life
was formed.

Yea, the true face
of evil is
that of lewdness,
power-lust,
violence,
deceit.
And it is always
a human face.
For Satan is in truth
