Topic: Mercury Rising-Creative Realms Chall | |
---|---|
This is from a challenge on Creative Realms, a multiply group, I thought I would share it with you. Goodnight by the way.
Write when you write. Mercury Rising I. My soul clenched Remembering your scent Like cherry dreams And something spent We no longer hold on to what you lost My sacred angel You’re the angle stabbing at my pain You seem to fit quite nicely Where wars are too much And we complain Insanity is profanity Anywhere you breed it Something stirs the conscience Without the way to word it Walking in the shoes Inside out Might seem the way to go But if you have never been there How the hell could you ever know it? II. The mercury that rose Will never fall the same way twice, What was done and undone Will simply not suffice, We climb on the back of mountains Searching for the dream And only sleep can bring me Closer to what it seems.
