Everyone generally flirts a lot in the forums. But, if you do do you get taken less seriously by people who might be interested in pursuing a real relationship?

I'm not sure b/c I'm not in that position but I would think if you're too raunchy/racy or constant that people might view you as not being serious about meeting someone special...

I never flirt with anybody and I never get taken seriously by anybody either. It's a conspiracy. Not that it matters; I have yet to see anything remotely resembling a "real relationship" prospect! Maybe someday....

I think its ok to flirt, but there comes a time when you have to be seirous, when it comes to that I try not to do it in the community, I prefer to have that done one on one and not in the eyes of others. I am very respectful when it comes to that.

I think if all you do is flirt, that's your thread personality, then you might not be taken seriously behind the scenes. I flirt with some of my friend on here, but there is no interest of it going further. If there was a commitment made, then I wouldn't flirt or limit my flirting.

It's a possibility some might take it that way, but I think it's most important to just be yourself. If being yourself is being a flirt then someone will have to like that about you regardless.
