I think its good. Its hard not to sound like most other posts. I would mention how many children you have and their ages. You have great pictures. I hope you find the one.

There is nothing lame or desperate about your profile...If it comes from you and you gave it all you have, then it is perfect

I don't think it's lame at all. More than anything, it's more about representing yourself genuinely and whos attention you want to capture. If you wanted to add a bit more about yourself, that might work well. Good luck :)
