I'm jealous...its 5 days before Christmas Eve and I still have shopping to do. I can't get anywhere today!
The way it looks I will be swimming in the pool on Christmas. Should I mention the fresh tomatoes I will be eating out of my garden. flowerforyou

<<<<<<--------tossing snow balls at him while he swims in the pool.
Look at my picture its not always paradise. They are some places still not fixed for Charley in 2004! Ive been lucky though and count my blessing! I live right in the middle of that eye!!

My youngest spent a total of six months working with relief groups in 07 after Katrina. I'm sure it will be years before the rebuilding is done, if ever. Not sure I could live in hurricane areas.

Enjoy those tomatoes and the pool.
NewO is a little different than here. We would not flood like that. The storms really dont scare me. Im in awe at all that power.

We don't get the thunder storms out here like you do. But when we do I'll be honest, they do put some fear in me, especially when they hit close.
Now you hit on something Im afraid of here. The thunderstorms and lightining. Now that can be down right scarey. Im more afarid of those more than the hurricanes! I run for cover everytime.

A friend of mine out there in West Palm Beach loves to sit and listen to the thunder and lightning, and yet when she was out here visiting last Febuary the winds came up one night about two in the morning and scared her. Go figure.

OMG, I HATE thunder and lightening, when I was little I used to hide under my parents bed, now I just sit here and get all freaked out.

I am required to be at work no matter what the weather is like. I am just another body....to fill a shift.
