Ron Paul's politics are very similar to those of the Libertarian Party.
He was likely to have Walter Williams, an economics professor, as his VP, had Ron Paul won the republican nomination. Ron Paul believes in strict constitutional restrictions on Federal government power. It is this philosophy which drives his political positions on assorted issues. |

The link above is the the Libertarian Party. They share much of Ron Paul's philosophy. If my memory is working today, Ron Paul once ran for president as a libertarian and won almost 20% of the vote. But that before he joined the Republican Party and became a member of the US House of Representatives. |

I too would like to see a serious push for him to run. I guess nows the time!! He did run, he was on the ballots during the primaries and I voted for him. If more people had paid attention, things could have turned out differently. |

Not only can Dr. Paul educate Obama, he would have killed him in the General election, because, the big reason Obama won was because of the economy, although he really didn't say much about how he would change what caused the bubble. Dr.Paul would have spanked his behind, no one in Congress knows more about how economics work than the Good Dr., No one.
