A great test for real love is to ask yourself if you love that person enough to let them be them self.

Do you love that person enough to love them when they don't love you?

Do you love that person enough truly want them to be happy above all else?

Those are all good.

I'll agree with those.

Also, by those definitions I have been in love.

However, the people I've been in love with weren't people that I would want to have an intimate romantic relationship with.

I mean, just because you love someone doesn't mean you want to get physically intimate with them.

Loving your parents or children is a good example of this.

Loving friends could be a good example too. Although in the case of friends you might be interesting in getting intimate with them too. bigsmile

I might also say that I have indeed fallen in love with many men's wives.

laugh

Hey, there's nothing wrong with that!

I didn't become physically intimate with them. But it is true that if they hadn't been married I would have been interested in marrying them myself.

So it's not that I never fell in love.

I just never fell in love with a person who was available and willing to move in with me.

But, I seriously believe that if I had it would have lasted forever, saver for major personality changes, or other factors.

I personally haven't changed in personality in any major way since childhood. I was highly moral and monogamous-minded then, and I've remained that way throughout my entire life (at least up to today). I see no reason why I should suddenly change save for a medical problem with the brain.

If I haven't changed, and I had married a partner who also didn't change (in major personality ways), then I see no reason why would would have fallen out of love.

The other thing too, most of the people I've seen get married around me did not love each other in the way you described above. That was obvisous from the get go to me.

They were trying to CHANGE each other even before they got married.

At least that's true of the marriages that didn't work out.

I've also seen couples that were truly happy with each other for just who they were. And they are still married today.

My cousin who lives next door to me got married quite young (in her 20's). She's my age now (60). They've been married 40 years and they appear just as happy with each other today as they were the day they got married.

I have never seen them have a major falling apart. I've seen them argue, not seriously mean. But clearly pissed at each other. But it never appeared to amount to anything serious.

If they ever had serious problems I'm totally unware of it. And I've lived next door to them for the whole 40 years. I think I'd know if they had a major falling apart.

Well if you have never been married and you want to do that, I think you should.

I don't regret my two marriages. I learned a few things. My only regret is that the second on lasted too long while I wasted time trying to make it work. Life is too short to spend any of it being miserable.

In reviewing my thoughts on relationships, and in realizing I don't want to get married again.. I see no reason why I should even think about dating. What would be the point? Dating leads to sex and sex leads to ... all the rest of the problems.

So I'm thinking I don't have the time or the energy to waste on a relationship where two people spend their time trying to mold the other person's life around theirs.

I had an interesting one. It was my girlfriend, at the times, good friend. She pulled out the cards and after turning them over, said there was not a bad card in the batch and that was unusual. Mind you, This was my girlfriends good buddy. She asked Janet to leave the room and Janet refused. She looked directly at me and said "Get rid of her" Needless to say that relationship was over???

I'm not sure I understand the question or the story.

Tell me a story Reading.

This is a reading where the question was simply:

Tell me a story.

The interpretation is just for fun.

Here is the meaning of the positions from left to right.

1. First card drawn = The beginning of the story
2. Second card drawn = what is going on because of it.
3. Third Card drawn = Important information
4. Fourth Card drawn = Advice
5. Last Card drawn = Conclusion or outcome.. end of story.

-- -- -- --

Cards Drawn: Death, Five of Swords, Eight of Swords, Two of Swords, Two of Wands.

Quick meanings:
1.) Permanent change.
2.) Empty win
3.) Mental bondage
4.) Stalemate
5.) Self empowerment.

Quick energy reading:

(1.)That permanent change was necessary,

(2.)There were wounds on both sides of the battle, a not so good feeling of victory is going on in the winners mind, but again, it was necessary to win the battle.

(3.)It is important for you (the winner) to take advantage of this victory and to break out of your own imposed mental prison, for nothing holds you back now but yourself and your own mind. The battle is over. Don't dwell on it.

(4.)Advice: Get out of your stale mate and make a decision... GET OVER IT.

(5.) Once you do you are on your way to self empowerment.

The possible story:

This could be about a divorce or a even a battle where someone was hurt and the winner did not relish hurting the opponent and feels guilty and stressed out over it and is spending too much time thinking about it and not moving forward to self empowerment. The change was necessary. The battle was necessary. Decide to get over it is the advice.

I don't know who this reading is for, but it could be for someone who reads this thread. It could be for no one.

Actually I was trying to find some folklore tales of the Wise Fool. I always was told there are great tales about the wise fool. He was somekind of jester so to say who acts like a fool but is actually highly clever and intelligent. I haven't found anything significant on such stories and fables.

I was wondering out of the 80 cards you own if there is such a card that resembles the "Wise Fool"?

Here is our fool for this deck. The one in our new deck will be similar.

I did a variation of this in a painting and it will be used in our next deck. It depicts a person holding a rote which contains a story. It is like a holographic book that you can enter and experience in full 3-D.

The name of the painting is "A new Story."

Now that is a really nice illustration. Wow! I love it.

What can you tell me about this card? What does it represent primarily if you could.

I see: He is looking into space and wondering of the mystic powers of it. He is holding a globe that either represents visions or powers.

I often am in this state of mind wondering about the beyond. I feel so much like that guy on the picture nowindifferent

For me it represents the higher spiritual being that is about to incarnate into the Milky way galaxy you see in the background. The wise fool is a spiritual entity that gives up its memory to experience the adventure of the game on earth of life and death.

He becomes the fool as he enters a new life devoid of memories of who he really is. He lives many lives learning many things and eventually learning who he truly is.

Now that makes alot of sense. I really like this card and like the title "The Wise Fool".

We give up our memories to live the game of Earth then as we die we regain all of our memories and add additional memories and knowledge understanding our spirit form even better. In the end we gain more knowledge and explore elsewhere for the galaxy seems to be infinite with no end.

Just crazy theories I have here. I have no clue of course, just imaginating things here.

Wow that is a really cool revised version. I would like to post that one on my photo display, but I won't as I know this is for the cards you will be selling. I will wait until you have the cards available to buy.

Well that is first class professional art. I mean I cannot see how that deck will not sell. Of course you will have to have somekind of advertisement strategy perhaps.

Thanks for the quick peek.laugh

I will buy a deck when it is done, but the box needs to be signed okay.

Signed? No problem. We don't worry about selling it. We need only to show it to the tarot community and word will spread like wild fire. There will be no other deck like it out there.

Well that is truly convenient when you don't worry about selling your product. It should spread like wildfire indeed.

I wish it was that easy selling a novel. I have a few books done, but suck at selling them. 6 to be exact! Fantasy is not easy to sell to tell you the truth.

After writing 120,000 word book and editing it a thousand times, finding a book cover, and getting it available for people to buy one would think one has made it. Boy was I wrong. Marketing is the other half one has to worry about and it is not cheap.

I have given fantasy a break and am now working on a book on spiritual laughter. It is a different concept that may work for people who seek it. It is a type of book intended for those who lack self confidence and motivation. Study indicates gelotology actually helps heal sicknesses, motivates, and brings a balance in life. I am trying to bring gelotology to another level. I am experimenting as we speak. I hope this book will create a bigger audience in the end.

If not I will stop writing and start a new hobby. Maybe wood carving or tap dancinglaugh

I will figure it out though, no worries.

I understand how difficult it is to market your product no matter how good it is. I have been told all my life that I should be rich because I know how to paint. That's laughable.

You can be a great artist, a great writer, a great singer, but if you don't have the right promotion, you won't sell anything.

Learning how to promote your product is half the battle. You have to really learn how to sell yourself.

I understand that how to books are big sellers.

With our deck, we have a few ideas on how we are going to market and sell and I think that will be a lot of fun.

Just thought I would say that that is by far the most freaking awsome Death card I've ever seen!
I would by the deck just for that.
