Cutting it down-(picture of Valhalla)

Living in fear

the signs were all there

I was falling

on the feild

but just as I turned in red

I remembered her trembling face

her stumbling pace

and I could not in good conscience

fall without avenging her.

As the masked warrior came to my right,

I stood up for her,

I circled round him

he was huge,

I was not intimidated

I was ready to die.

He struck at an odd angle

perfect, I thought, he was intimidating me,

I proved him wrong

stabbed him in the stomach

under the ribcage

up to the heart

I watched his face

I think I snarled with a surging thrill

as I watched him die

and I spoke,

"This is for the little girl I once was,

you will never enter Valhalla!"
