Is it true that the best way to get over an old love is to get under a new one? Not unless you prefer being on top. |

I disagree.
Maybe in the past, it worked superficially for me - like a "bandaid". But, it never healed the earliest loss, abandonment, rejection, or shame. It only covered up the pain and stalled the grieving. And, boy, did I believe I had already grieved more than enough for a multitude of people in my life time. I guess I underestimated the depth of that emptiness I carry with me. |

Nope, not at all. In fact, I don't think you should even start a new relationship until you are over the past one and have dealt with the issues that caused problems in the past.

Is it true that the best way to get over an old love is to get under a new one? Seriously though, rebound relationships never work. Been there once in the past, used it more for an ego boost. |

I disagree.
I wouldn't want to start another relationship still entangled with emotions from the last. I wouldn't appreciate if someone I started dating hadn't become untangled themselves. |

Nope I have to get over one relationship before starting another
