For some reason almost every night when i cook i am hugry when i start; but when I am done and server dinner to everyone else im not hunrgy at all. I try to force myself to eat but only get 2 - 3 bites down and put the rest aside for another day. anyone else who cooks get like this or am i going crazy?

I generally only take a small taste to make sure its not burnt and thats it.

Just do what I do....sample and nibble as you cook...Then feed everyone. I rarely eat when I am serving dinner...(Gotta check the quality before you serve it though!)

you aren't going crazy, happens to me allot too, course I also forget to eat and then around 3 o'clock I'm wondering why I'm hungry,,Hehe but anyway Yeah You aren't alone in the cooking and serving but no longer being hungry thing, but I have no idea if its common

It might be that you are forgetting; or, perhaps watching others enjoy your cooking, lovingly and thoughtfully prepared for them, is all the sustenance you need or desire during that time. Leaves you sated.
