Night rain in the city…. Across the mists of neon streets, cold wind gusts in watery waves. My reflection in the street…. A man in a raincoat flowing down manholes into underground waters. Past loves gone by…. Left to surge down drains into darkness, or collect in quiet puddles waiting for the sun…. Tears and raindrops bead my glasses…. Seeing fragments of a lost love falling from the cold night sky’ and trickling into empty streets….
