I don't care for McCain's politics but he has always struck me as classy and respectful. I think he secretly feels that Palin was a mistake. Because she overshadowed him and sucked up all the attention that should have been directed at him as Presidential candidate

I beleive someone already posted this but. I think the republicans knew from the start they were beat. Why else would you put McCain and Palan on the ticket. To give McCain his last shot at something everyone knew he couldnt win. Think about that and the way the "True Conseratives" felt about him.

I don't know about him being the lamb. I've heard people say that before. I don't have a clue as to the Republicans thinking they couldn't win. I know that as an Obama supporter, I was sweating it out through the election.

My father (an Independent) said he respected McCain until he picked Palin. He lost total respect then. My mother didn't like him from the beginning.

Whats funny about you sweating it out is that as soon as the Calis voting ended it was called. Not even close..None of what the media put out was even close...

My state took the longest to decide if it was a red or blue state. I think it took almost two weeks after the map was filled. Sheesh.

I let my elementary school child watch the video of her interview with Couric. My kid laughed and said that Palin made no sense and didn't answer the questions.
