i have a cousin born with it he is now ten years old and on the baseball team and he is fine he just doesnt have a normal bellybutton

Look up National Organization of Rare Disorders they usually can hook you up with other parents or older patients. Good Luck.

i have a cousin born with it he is now ten years old and on the baseball team and he is fine he just doesnt have a normal bellybutton My son is now 7 yrs old....he doesn't have a belly button at all either....just a scar. He had other complications which led to other surgeries....I think the reason he is so short is because they had to remove 4 inches of his small bowel due to it being gangrene from floating in the amniotic fluid. My son is usually passed up by kids who are already 5 yrs old. I hope he grows. Thank you for responding & Im really glad your cousin is doing well.
