still about the smooooooothest ride i have ever owned. '68 GTO with dual 4bbl. carbs., high performance (some people enjoy the Judge) 0-140mph in about 8 to 12 seconds. I put air shocksall around , and of course, H/D springs. Let's take you for a spin. (the proof is in showing it done--i have.) What is your favorite ; out of all the Auto's you have owned??

That is not the stock 283...it's a 327, bored .60 over, with a crane 480/501 lift cam, and rhoads lifters. The short stroke of a 327 with that bore..and the 750 holley carb, double hump bowtie heads, produced 412 hp. With a beefed up turbo 350 tranny, and a 12 bolt GM rear end with 4:86 gears..Believe me when i tell you, that was one fine damn street machine. I rebuilt this car from the ground up, the only thing i didn't do was the transmission work, and the final paint.

I used to have a nice camaro ... '80 with the landing strip long hood and the round headlights.
I miss it. Never cared for the holly carbs guys were using back then. Nothing beat the sound of those rochester secondaries opening up. I allways wanted to fit a set of chrome side pipes on it.*sigh*

But my favorite to this day has to be my first car.
It was a '78 four door Impala that I bought in high school for $300
We used to call it the Psychedelic Loafer.

I had a 93 Mustang LX 5.0, I loved that car. Did everything right as a car should do until it got totalled. Then I had an 87 Grand Marque- now that's a boat, I loved it, I almost fell asleep driving it.

I have a 4 banger- Mercedes. 15 years old young. Smooth ride, rear wheel drive, good on the gas, looks good and people can never guess its age right. they usually think it's only a few years old. bigsmile

Ohh.. small note, never paid more for a car than 10 grand. (mustang), all others cost me less and I can't remember the last time I went to a mechanic. Never bought a new car in my entire life. I don't believe in new cars.
