We know what you're saying, but a dude hasn't met you. What does he care who or what or if you are even real. All he knows for sure is that he's getting a response. If you want to avoid the whole thing, photoshop a red dot on your forehead in each one of your pictures.

That is a pic of me & my best friend... & the point was I think people should ask first... I just think "drama" is not in the equation of an email that I dont care for... LOL... I dont care for those types of emails... I love the pic of me & my best friend... sorry

I don't think they should have to take the time to ask. Really its out of courtesy to have a pic of just you in your profile on a dating site. I have pics of me with some friends, but I don't make them my main pic. It's really not an issue that is that big of a deal, because if it bothers you so much, then do something about it and quit complaining.flowerforyou

This is just me, but the whole "pic of more than one person with no identification which one the profile belongs to" is a huge disincentive.

I just think the main pic should be one person, the one who's actually on the site. I don't want to play "guess the person," I don't want to have to go to the profile and search (too many times, the group shot is the ONLY pic; or else there are seven more group shots with no identifiers), I don't want to e-mail the person and drag it out of them.

And I realize that not everybody who does this is trying to be deceptive or misleading, but it's just something that I find needlessly obtuse.
