Best you can do right now is give her a bit to calm down....hope it all works for you, but arguing and breaking up like this is NOT a good way to begin a marriage

First of all, you should stop trying to understand girls, and instead stop trying to understand women. Nobody knows what makes them tick. Even THEY don't know.

Secondly, if you knew the roads were bad, why in God's name did you even bother texting her while she was driving??? Are you nuts!?

Thirdly, it sounds to me like you BOTH need to grow up.

Ok, you kept texting her when you knew she was driving in bad weather and when she got irritated, you got pissed off and broke up with her?

Grow up, little man. If you really loved her, you would never do anything that would put her in danger.

Best thing for the both of you is to just break up and stay broken up and learn something from this.

Can anybody here please restate to me what I always say about personal accountability?

You had NO business texting her while she was driving, and even less if you knew the roads were bad. She should stay focused on her driving, not texting your sorry ass! Obviously, she's already out driving on the bad roads, so she already KNOWS they're bad! She doesn't need Mr. Current Events to bring her up to speed!

Ok, the roads are that bad and she's going to take the time and attention away from that to text something so long and drawn out? I think not. You're lucky she responded at all, I wouldn't have and if I did, I'd have had the same response. Use some common sense, you knew what it was like, you shouldn't have been doing it to begin with.

Are you serious? Putting her life in danger...MIGHT have caused it....sounds like you guys have a history of fighting and breaking up...very CHILDISH....and you two have NO BUSINESS getting married at this point....Take some time to grow up....both of you....sounds like you are both more in love with being in love than you are with one another...you also might consider how you will take it when your "WIFE" decides to throw more mens pictures in your face each time you guys argue...marriage is a serious commitment...not a game and you should really make sure you are both ready....and in my opinion, neither of you are

couldn't have said it better myself. Take some responsibility. You should have never been texting her while she was driving and to make it worse you did it knowing she was driving in bad weather. Your the one who is wrong not her. with an attitude like that your marriage is guaranteed to fail.

noway noway noway noway So she should show you more consideration than you showed her....wow.....do you really think that a marriage will last with the two of you? Do both of you really want to spend the rest of your lives this way?.....ummmmmmm....NO....not gonna happen....guaranteed! You were the one texting her when she was driving....I would be mad too....don't blame this on "that time of the month" because to me and anyone else, it shows that you are very immature and don't expect ANYONE to baby you.....you are going into the military and still seem to need to be "raised"....I am an insurance agent and can gladly show you the charred remains of bodies on a highway...caused by someone texting while driving....get a flippin' grip dude

I won't even answer the phone while I'm driving, much less a text! I don't care if it's the friggin' President, he can wait! My life is worth more than your frivolous phone conversation.

dbad,
Listen, you're getting a lot of harsh comments (deserved or not, I won't say) from the people on this forum. Let me approach the problem from a different angle:

Consider that going abroad or living in extreme conditions changes a person in important ways. When you get back from the military, I guarantee you will be a different you.
Think about it: If you'll be almost a different person by the time you get back, is it really fair to her *or to yourself* to make such a committment beforehand? Is it right to get married?

You have the rest of your lives together, buddy. Wait until you get back to tie the knot with your fiance.

That's usually how it happens. You ended it without knowing it. Need to be more careful with your words. It's just what you say, but it's how you say it as well. Granted, it was a text message, so what you say is 100x more important since it's hard to express any kind of emotion in it.

shes supposed to be my fiance and im supposed to marry her before i leave for the military in 31 days
and i was like are we still getting married and shes like i dont marry people who im not dating.

Coming from an Air Force veteran, I know how hard it can be to go through something like this. The best thing to do is get that emotional closure. Do a Google search for the process of Ho'oponopono. It is incredibly powerful and can help to bring you some peace.

then she trys to make me jealous by putting a guy i hate on her top which she did last time we got into a fight like this but its a different guy.

As they say, Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. An ex-girlfriend of mine tried to berate me on MySpace without taking me off of her friends list. It didn't work. This won't work either. She's trying to make you feel bad for breaking it off with her. She's being childish. Disregard it.

[quote[then i texted her and was like i miss you and shes like stop it david, i miss you too but i cant give in yet. any 1 have any idea what this means or what i should do or what

She needs her space. She needs time to heal in her own way. She might come back to you. She might not. But what you need to do is heal yourself first. If you take my advice to look up Ho'oponopono (it's goofy looking, so just copy and paste :D), make sure to keep it a positive experience. Karma is real.

im just ready to leave for the military now i cant get any sleep and blah i just am so confused angry heartbroken everything

When I have trouble sleeping, because I have a world of thoughts in my head, I lay down, take a deep breath, and begin to count five things that I can hear, smell, feel, and if it's there, taste. After you get five for each, do four, and so on down until one. Before you reach one, you'll have pretty much knocked yourself out. It's a self-hypnosis induction called the Betty Erickson method. I personally don't use it because I do pass out.

Women are enigmas. I've been with my share of women and I still don't get them. But I know what to say and do to flip attraction switches in their minds. But I'll never be able to figure them out. Not even women know what they want, broseph.

Best thing to do is to give her space, stay away from her online, and heal your heart. You don't need this kind of negative energy going in to Basic Training.
