I have a few quilts
this one was made in the 40's by the Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Women's Auxilary as a fundraiser for the troops fighting in Europe the bottom side of it is made from flour sacks. The flour labels are printed on the underside of it it's been appraised but I won't say how much here ![]() |

Me too my quilt is on the bed year round.I have made quilts for most of my family members. And with Christmas around the corner I am busier then ever.I saw a quilt at a tourist shop here in Ontario it was a king size white with white stitching the tag said 1,ooo dollars. |

this one is my favorite though. it's worth less than all the others but is the prettiest (I think)
the color doesn't show up well but it's a burnt orange like UTex ![]() |

They are are beautiful Quiet I was leaning closer to the moniter staring at the second one to see how it was pieced. I have never seen one like that, cool way to use what we quilters call "strings" & it is actally looks like a 4patch. At 1st glance it looks more complicated than it is. Wonderful pattern.
