What was your favorite Christmas gift that you received as a child? The one that I remember was my metallic, hot pink banana seat bicycle. I thought I was so cool.

Mine was purple...with a white seat! It was SOOOoooooooo cool! That and a "Beautiful Chrissy" Doll with the hair that grew out of the center of her head...too awesome and she even had groovy clothing. Life was good!

Mine was purple...with a white seat! It was SOOOoooooooo cool! That and a "Beautiful Chrissy" Doll with the hair that grew out of the center of her head...too awesome and she even had groovy clothing. Life was good! My grandma gave me a "Beautiful Chrissy" doll. I still have it.

My daughter has "Beatiful Chrissy" now...I gave it to her. It also has a special from-our-famioy memory attached too...when our puppy (my daughter's dog, really) chewed the fingers off one hand of Chrissy's hands. My daughter freaked out and I probably did too, at the time...now it's a sort of bittersweet momento of our lives and how they interconnect across the generations (and species! LOL!) BTW - Chrissy is still dressed in her awesome turquoice satin mini with the boots... SHE ROCKS!

i can't say that i have any memorable Christmas gifts but i do remember my sister getting a doll from one of my uncles and his son ripped the head off trying to get it out of the package it was funny as hell!
