"Good old Spybot" Mine is finally gone did you do as I recommeneded and delete everything by date ? I had a list of the registry entries ( from a geek site) and accessed the registry and deleted everything associated with Perfect Defender including the dll's. |

It took me all of yesterday, I did not go to bed until after 4am this morning,every nook and cranny was opened and cleaned. I saw a post on here where someone was saying that the virus may be coming from music sites, I have to say, I have never had any such thing happed, and I have been using music sites for years. |

Shared music sites seem to have spyware. I have Gotten some from using Limewire, you have to be careful what you download there

Shared music sites seem to have spyware. I have Gotten some from using Limewire, you have to be careful what you download there Limewire is P2P,and in some ways I have been extremely lucky not to have picked up any viruses on the odd occasion I have used it. Most of my collected music is bought from stores and paid music websites ( We7) I also use SoulSeek and have never had a problem with them either. |

They have ways to invade your system. The one that got me disabled my McAfee settings. Random e mails too when you click to delete them have a code that will put stuff on your system, lieing dormant till you do a web search for something.

When and if it ever does appear again I will be ready for it....... I have a window beside my desk, I will open it and hurl the computer through it!!!
