honestly.. if you love her.. then fine. get married.. HOWEVER!!! dont do it the 12th.. its too soon.. let her have time to plan the wedding of her dreams.. dresses, bridesmaids, family in town.. that cannot be arranged in a week.. im just sayn.. if you dont want her to hate you for the rest of eternity.. you may wanna hold off.. jan 12 would be better at least.. just a thought. were just going to the court house, were doing the acutal wedding in like a year and a halfish, lol and yes im TOTALLY suprised u were even a lil supportive wow just a lil somethin to think about.

Considering how easy judges grant divorces now a days is getting married and then getting divorced if it doesn't work out really any different than dating and breaking up?
Go for it. See you next month with 50% less stuff. Seriously, if you two are really happy then I say what the hell? It is YOUR lives. |

If you knew what kind of response you'd get, why did you bother to post the topic? Just sayin...
I married my EX husband after 3 months. We were together just over 7 years. From experience, I can tell you this - if you believe she's "the one" and you already believe you want to spend the rest of your life with her, what's the rush? It's exciting, I know, but give yourself awhile to get to know each other... talk about what you really want in your future. What are your dreams & goals? Do you want kids? Are you spiritually compatible? Do you leave the seat up? Does she care? Marriage is a big step and shouldn't be taken lightly. It can be exhilarating to follow your heart, just try to listen to your head too.

Focus on college and finish it first. Being married, full time student, and working will take a lot of you time. You may get burnt out bro and one or more of those may suffer. If you think you can then go for it. Make sure you both want to be together for the rest of your life. For better or Worst!

Not that its gonna change my decison at all but....... i just started talkin to this girl saturday, and long story short were getting married on the 12th, 2fast? or do u ( like myself) believe that true love can be found in a short period of time? i feel like ive known her 4ever, and for me thats as rare as a green sky, I feel like im completly inlove. well u old farts can go ahead and tell me how dumb i am but is whateva. lol on a 1-10 scale (1 being the dumbest) how dumb do u think it is to marry a girl i havent even known a week? |
