It used to be about family and now it's about things. I always looked forward to Christmas because it was the only time everyone was all together in the same place. That just doesn't happen anymore, at least not with my family. We've gone from a family to a group of individual families.

The black friday stampede's..injuring and killing people. I think the companies should be sued for limiting the amount of product that causes such a demand for items. Crazy.

The fact that people think of it only as a time for the gimme gimmes!!!! Though presents are nice, I would rather just have my family and friends near me. Thats all I want. Presents are nice and I like receiving them but they dont replace human contact and listening to your kids talk and the relatives play their guitars and sing.
