Legally speaking, if you break your lease, you could (and probably will be) held liable for rent, etc until the end of your lease. It can make it difficult for you to rent elsewhere. I'd think twice about that.
Personally, what do you think running away is going to accomplish? Man up, deal with the situation and let the chips fall where they will. I read your other post, trust me, she's already gone in her head and heart, let her go. And whether you run away or not, you and she will be there until you accept that and figure a way to get over it. |

Talk to the landlord. as far as the lease goes. I am positive she doesn't want you to move. But she does want to know when. So she can have a chance of renting it Immediatly. Without losing any rent.

Every lease I've ever had had a "buy-out" option, in case you had to leave early. Like all divorces, it's worth whatever you have to pay.

Yes, this is true, many of them do, and for many of them, they buy-out is whatever the rent is for the balance of the lease, unless they can rent out your apartment beforehand. Check the lease and/or talk to the landlord. Only way to know for sure what the lease says. |
