If I were a breeze,
I would brush up against your lips,
If I were the moon,
I would bring you stars to dine on,
If I were a raindrop,
I would land upon your tongue and quench you,
If I were the sun,
I would bring you luminescent thoughts all your days,
If I were a cloud,
I would bring you the touch of the heavens slow dancing,
If I were the lightning,
I would spark you with inspiration until you exploded with delight,
If I were the snow,
I would fall lightly upon your eyelashes and kiss your cheeks with my white,
If I were a fog,
I would hide all the things you did not want to see,
If I were a sleet,
I would only sleet on Mondays so you did not have to get out of bed,
Just snuggle with memories of me instead,
If I were a season,
You would give me a reason,
To know just how to fall like leaves from the strong oak
Onto the soft wet ground awaiting the winters first kiss,
So that soon I would be awakened in the spring of our love
