i'm from new orleans, where they paid 36 million to bectell and haliburton, and here's a small example of what they did; roofing squares, on average, pay twenty dollars a square... they paid workers 2.50 a square, and kept the 17.50 free and clear, tax free, and cash in pocket, just on that!! god knows what they are doing with no regulations in iraq!! well, they need it for their island to escape to when we find out how much they stole from us!!!
rootffrtrl!!!!(rolling all over the floor from room to room laughing)......insanely. |

Going on here... We have at least one local Gas Station selling regular gas for $1.25/gal... Methinks prices could have been cheaper all along.... I agree. Especially when we have our own in harms way in oil rich countries. Coincidence that the area that we are defending is making the most money because of this??? Just a thought |

prices are bound to go back up again. Hopefully not as high as they were
prices right now are unsustainable. They are lower than what the producers and refiners can afford to produce it layoffs have started in the oil industry as a result. just one more drag n the economy |

Why has the price of diesel fuel not gone down as well? Diesel comes from a different refining process than gas. and we STILL haven't increased refining capacity since 1970. The consumers have decreased their driving and drove down the price of gas. But the truckers are still truckin |

Interesting. So why would they want this? The cost of diesel fuel directly affects the cost of everything.

I don't think it's really a matter of what anybody wants. The prices aren't set by the oil companies. Those are a result of the commodities market, supply and demand and all that. same as cotton prices and corn prices etc
THEY were the ones who drove the prices up so much in the summer |
