That sounds like an excuse to me... Now it's all becoming a little more clear. You have no job. You live with your parents and you are 21. You sit at home all day and watch TV & play video games. You're showing no ambition. Last I checked, you don't need a degree to work at McDonalds or fast food of any kind. There's many jobs that you don't need a degree for. I don't have a degree either but I have a good job... because I worked my azz off for it. If you REALLY wanted to go to Church and be the Christian you claim that you are, you would find a way to get it done. I'm thinking the fact that you're a self proclaimed geek/ nerd really isn't the reason you can't get a girl to out with you. Not trying to offend you, just speaking the truth here based on what you've said.

Let me say this. At one point I had a car, I had a good paying job, I had everything I wanted and then I started hanging with the wrong crowd and formed an addiction and the only way I could break that addiction would be to get away from it. I have a very addictive personality and when I get hooked on something, it's hard to stop. So, yeah. Don't ever say anything about me. Don't ever judge me, unless you know what you're talking about.
Sooo that's a good enough reason to not do anything else to help further your life? Everyone has problems. Everyone has addiction problems of some sort. I don't care who you are, if you're addicted to something, it's hard to stop. That's why they call it an addiction. But it's up to you on what you do with your life. It's up to you whether or not you're going to make it better, worse, or stay the same. All I'm pointing out is that you started this out wondering why girls don't like geeks... or if girls would date geeks because you're a geek and you can't get a date. But it's not because you're a geek. It's because you lack the ambition to improve your life and provide for yourself.

Lol.. Retired Girl gamer here)

I started with playing Diablo years ago, and well, the rest is history. I've been a gamer for 11 yrs. now, playing all the popular RPG's out there.

They're a fun, cheap form of a social life that doesn't involve the simplicity of: go to bar...drink at bar...check out hot girls/hot guys from bar.

Not currently playing anything, but I'm sure that will change with D3. Oh, and the reason you only find wives/gf's is b/c they do a lame job on female characters in FPS's. Throw in a Bond girl-type spy and I'm there..

And yes.. girls want a guy who is responsible, settled, and at the very least doesn't lurch off his gf (which is next if already using parents in said manner). I'd love, for a change, to see a guy offer gas money if there's any driving involved in meeting. Maybe even a hotel for the night (don't get crude here). It's what separates the gentlemen from the guys.

None of that changes a thing she said about you. Women aren't going to be interested in dating a guy who is 21 and has to borrow money from his parents to take her on a date.

Where did you work before your addiction? All it takes is a little bit of initiative man. Get off your ass and tak any job you can find. In order to get back to the top....you've gotta start from the bottom.

It seems like your coming up with exuses not get out there and try. Like you expect it to all fall in your lap.

But like you said....we dont know you, we only know what you have posted in this forum. So being thats all we have to get to know....our opinions based on that.

I used to work at Lowe's and the whole me moving thing just sorta happened so I didn't have time to even put in for a transfer and then I've applied over and over again and nothing. I got one or two interviews, but after that, nothing.

And I can't really borrow money, because they too, have cut me off.:/

And most of the Resident Evil Series have a lead female role.

There's only 2 really.

Jill Valentine and Claire Redfield.

Resident Evil 4 has some girl in it. And Resident Evil 5 has some other new girl.

You also have Bloodrayne, which is an okay game, but has a hot female lead.

I'm really not trying to bash you. I'm not trying to offend you. I just have little tolerance for excuses like the ones you are giving. You have to help yourself before anyone else can help you. You have to be in charge of you. You are responsible for yourself. You need to take that responsibility and make something of yourself. You're blaming your parents because you can't do what you want. When you could take charge of your life and get it done yourself. You're blaming not having a degree as a reason to get a job. You don't have to have a degree to get a job. And you're not putting forth effort to get the degree. You're blaming you being a nerd / geek/ and the fact that you're a Christian and not looking for a sexual relationship as to why no one will go out with you. That simply isn't the case. They're not going out with you because you're not out there doing for yourself. You're not helping yourself.

Jocks only think about sports, nerds only think about sex.

Revenge of the Nerds!!! hahahaha

Ok, honestly, you seem to be able to find any excuse why you cant. Cant get a job, cant get to church, cant find the girl. If you're a religious church going person you need to find someone first and foremost that shares the same values in life that you do. Gaming and nerdyness aside they have to respect and appreciate that you do not party or have premarital sex. Once you find that go for your other key features you're looking for.

I firmly believe there is someone out there for everyone but you cant expect it to fall in your lap.

If your only option for income is fast food, then take your pick. Stay in your current situation and not move forward or suck it up, take the fast food job and make some money to move forward, get a car, get a better job, get the girl.

Girls like stability, you're not in highschool anymore buddy, you wont find many (if any) girls that will want a guy who doesn't have a job/car at 21. That has absolutely nothing at all to do with your gaming or tv watching.

I'll stop writing a book now lol. Good luck man! (I'm still lookin for my girl too)

Even when I was living on my own and I had a car and a job and money, I was still getting rejected. So, somehow I don't think that that's the reason....

Most RE games have one female and male role. Claire Redfield, Rebecca Chambers, and Jill Valentine all were primary characters in the games they were in. Also in RE4, there is an unlockable side mission where you play as Ada Wong. The new RE is supposed to have a new heroine. So yeah plenty of female heroines in the RE series altogether.

Resident Evil Series is good to play. I need to get back to console games.

You have to walk before you can run and crawl before you can walk.

Crawling off your gameing chair and getting some counseling for Depression and exercise might make you see things a little differently.

Employment is key to being seen as a man even if it is just getting out every day. Jesus was a carpenter; not exactly a glamor job, so you need to start pulling your own weight too.

I am not into gameing so I have no clue there but I would think they have tournaments and swap meets or something. My son and his wife have people over to have snacks and play on their games.

I don't much like labels but if being Nerd means being educated and a little out of the "cool" crowd then you are with the majority not the minority.

I think you need to study your part in your situation and stop blameing others for being alone which at 21 is clearly your choice.
