This may be in the wrong section, and if it is I apologize. I just couldn't find the right section.

So, I always get things in my personal e-mail saying things like "Someone matched with you at Mingle2." I just never really thought anything of it. So, I decide to browse through people and I saw someone I wanted to match with and I clicked on "Match with her". Well, it turned out that she was one of the people that was interested in meeting me. So, I sent her an e-mail saying high. She said on her profile that she moved to where I am 2 years ago from Japan and was looking around for some friends. I e-mailed her stating I moved her a year ago and was looking for the same and then I asked her what part of Japan she came from. I know she's read my e-mail and such. Do you think there's any particular reason why she didn't respond or anything. This is a problem I've had on multiple other sites like this. I just don't understand it.

Happens to almost everyone here. I don't get it either. Why folks go through the motion of Mutual Match and then don't write or respond when a MM writes them.

Scammers get flustered when they're asked a question they can't back up.

It happens to everyone i think

I usually give a MM 24 hours to write to me then if they don't I make first contact and they have 24 hours to respond and if they don't- Buh Bye!! NEXT!!!

If someone has been talking to you and then disappears- sure its rude but I just chalk it up to not being raised well- they are just losers and forget about them- they aren't worth stressing over.

Every once in a blue moon do I get to go on a date I met through the Internet. All went exactly as planned and I had a lot of fun. It's far from easy, so I guess my best advice is to leave this as a very low priority. But if you must, stay textbook.
