I recently looked into some Rowena Cherry novels, they are cute and well, funny, LOL I like them, they are sci fi romance, not sure you would want to read them, but its all sci fi. She names her books after chess moves. She is a fascinating person. smileshappy drinker

I finished Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card last nite.

When I got to the part where he takes the alien out of the hole and the alien forgives him I started crying.

Now I want to get the rest of the series and reread it. Well at least to the part where the teddy bears stake out the people so trees can grow thru their hearts.

I think Orson went off his meds in that part.

Heinlein's books seem very old? Would his theories and writings take me past 2008?

The Moon is a Harsh Mistress by Heinlein is one of my favorite books, as well as The Cat who Walked Through Walls. Harsh Mistress deals with a number of good topics including artificial intelligence and the possibility of computers being self aware. I still think it's a good read.
