We "bad to the bone" girls are sometimes afraid of genuine intimacy and love; fearing it would envelope us or overwhelm us if we ever had it. Having never had it, some of us do not know what it looks like or feels like - or how it can positively change our lives. Some of us crave passion, desire, excitement, and drama - but that's not what makes us truly happy or serene.
So, we kick it to the curb when we see that it is hurting us.   Then we become the "bad girls", independent, needing no one, assertive and forthright. We become seductive and elusive; and, unfortunately end up doing to the "good guys", the "nice guys", whom we sometimes find "boring" (because we were raised and/or socialized by our earliest peers to only know and feel comfortable with pain, suffering and drama in our lives) the very same thing we fear the most. We end up abandoning or rejecting them unfairly. Some of us, through our looks, charm, seductiveness, personality, and sensuality feel great power in these situations. But, it is only brief and fleeting. Ultimately unfulfilling. Despite this, empowering ourselves as women and feeling our strength is necessary. Sometimes moreso than at other times. In my humble opinion, we are mostly good hearted  women who fear being available on every level - only because it is something we have no idea how to do. This is speaking from my experience only. Your mileage may vary. For "today" however, its time for me to party!
