That day was INSANE! They don't have Popeye's chicken in Rhode Island, so we bought a big ol' bucket with all the trimmings. We went back to the hotel...pigged out...relaxed for a bit & then I said "Um, I don't feel so well..." He replied "I wonder if it was the beans & rice?" For the next 12 or so hours, we were both sicker than dogs...BOTH exits, no waiting... You know it's got to be love when he holds your hair back for you while worshipping the porceline god! Ah! Good times!

the first time that brad came over.. i spent the day in full on freak out mode.. i worked for the morning.. and then went home and cleand EVERYTHING in my house for the next 3 hours!!
when he got here i was standing on a chair washing out the top cupboards (you know the ones that dont aucutualy get touched) with pinesol and a washcloth..
my kids were at my moms and due back any minute. so when he knocked i just yelled somethin like "since when do we KNOCK in this family.. its not locked.. get IN here and help me calm down!!!!!"

he came in and was like.. why are you not calm..

eyes met.. blah blah.. and all was NEAT!!!


but the entire day.. full on torture!!!!!

The first time was a real stresser. I didn't know what to expect, I didn't know how to act. Should you just act like old friends (or more) seeing each other after a long absence or should you start at square one? It's a real crazy feeling when you first see the person that you feel like you both know everything about and never "met" before. In the end, most meetings have worked out because we got to know the important things first (beliefs, likes, dislikes, passions, family....ect) without a lot of the physical things mucking it up. Some of them, if I had known the physical stuff first, wouldn't have gotten that far.

When my boyfriend at the time flew in from California for the first time, I was so nervous I was shaking. Butterflies in the stomach, wanting to run. It was worth it though!
