Embers of legend still glow.

Dead dragons in distant lands
Silent moonlight in pagan countries
Bittersweet victories won by these hands
The smell of death in groves of ash trees.

Tides of war reach beyond horizons
Freezing rain of the famous battle
Years of peace forever grasping
Lost remains and empty saddles.

Battle for Badon sealed the fame
At our end died the dream
Camelot the center of flame
Threads won't hold without a seam.

Death shrouded in fable
Legends range ever farther
Companions of the mystical round table
Mourn your lost, remember your King Arthur.
