Should we stereotype them? I didn't realize there was a stereotype.

Put me in a box...I will have to bust out of it.

Stereotype others??
Have been guilty in the past of stereotyping people, of only seeing some
of their faets, but life has shown me there is so much more to a person.

ET, I'm well aware of that. But I don't ever recall transexuals being
"stereotyped." I mean, stereotyped in what way?

I guess assuming they're gay would be one way.

Why does it really matter? I mean seriously, if your house was burning
down and you are drunk and passed out, does it really matter who drags
you out, and saving your life?

Be careful what you say and how you say it because you never know who
will save your life.

how about assuming their freaks that they are somehow subhuman for not
being either man or woman. Don't pretend you Haven't thought it. You
don't get much more stereotyped than that darling

Oh, ok...transvestite, rather than transexual...well, I guess the same
holds true, though, that the general "stereotype" would be that, if a
man wears a dress, he must be "gay." I don't spend an inordinate amount
of time thinking about it, to be honest with you.

And as far as transexuals go, I don't think they're "freaks" at all; I
think they were born genetically sexualy ambiguous. I think that gender
reassignment surgery is a lifesaver for those who are going through this
and it must be a horribly difficult thing to face.
