i believe they should file chapter 11 and restructure like Chrysler did under Lee Iacocca.They still get government money but it goes thru the courts .Lee paid the loan back in 2 yrs.
I don't agree with throwing money out willy nilly (that we don't have,HELLO)to these companies and Wall Street vultures.
Let them file Chapter 11 and cut costs like us regular Americans do.

they are gonna have to go bankrupt.

they probably WANT to go bankrupt.
bailing them out just delays the inevitable.

America is in a recession. the demand fro cars is not there anymore.
the cost to make them is still there and increasing every year...(retirement funds, employee costs)

they dont need a bailout.
they wont go outta buisness, not entirely...and as long as you can still go to work, those JOBS will eventually be given back under different types of contracts.

its the people that are receiving retirement funding ALREADY from them that will hurt.
