I have a very hard time saying it. I know in my heart that I love them but to say the words I get scared.. What if in the end they wont feel the same?? Then my heart will be crushed....

Nope, I just say what I'm feeling. If I fall in love I say it. I don't understand why people are so afraid of those three little words. Now "I do".....those are scary words!

No...timing is a problem though. If you say it to early it can be scary. Wait to long and they wonder if you really mean it.

And after you tell her....how come it's so easy to just walk away? Women do this just as often as men, you just dont see the men going after the women in court abot it as much as you do the other way around. Well my question comes from a recent personal experience. But you're right...women do it as often as men, I'm sure. And who said anything about court?

ya want to know what really sucks..I know there is this guy that truely loves me,and I have been in love with him in the past,just have but those feelings on the back burner as well as he has,that we we cn still be the closest of friends..and hopefully not get to hurt..we just can be together at this point..hope 1 day.if its meant to be I believe it will work out..sometimes we have to take breaks from 1 another just to breath...a real & ture connection...but alas..a LOVE that can't be..

And who said anything about court? lol, sorry I am just saying thatthat is why you dont hear about women doing it as often as men. up until very recently if a woman took a man to court for just about anything, the man came out with absolutely nothing left (not saying al women didthis or do it; but lke a lot of things, a few bad ones gave the rest a bad image), so SOME women would do this in retaliation for a man walking out. A man would not do this cause even now, he is likely to be made fun of, and joked about if he were to make it public thatthe woman walked out on him, or played him, or whaever.

Do you or have you ever had a problem telling someone you're dating that you love them? I think it may come a little easier for women to "express their feelings". Is it easier to show her you love her, rather than tell her?? Words are my thing -- if it should be said, I would say it. It's not difficult at all. Well put. It's really not that hard.

I grew up in a family that those words weren't ever really used I use it all the times with my kids, but beyond that very rarely if ever have used it

Asolutely not....far too old and experienced to beat around the bush..(So to speak) If I love someone...I tell them..no hesitation..no regret. If I don't love someone...I will not candy coat and lead someone on...that isn't fair. The older I get...the more natural it seems to simply be honest with myself and the woman I am trying to nail.
