Oh!!!! A rock hit my windshield while I was driving yesterday and put a crack in it about the size of a quarter!!! Im worried about it and the cold....it could crack all the way now???? Also......Im wondering if I should go through my insurance or would it be cheaper to go private? You're right about the crack spreading. (No pun intended) Permatex windshield repair kit costs about $20, and is available everywhere. Do it yourself. Or...have the crack filled at a repair shop, if it is a round-ish crack. Is it round-ish? |

Windshield replacement is an insurance issue. That way you're covered in case the installation needs "enhancement" later on.
Ask your agent if a new windshield lowers the vehicle resale value. If so, then the insurance rate may drop. |

not sure but it might be $200 deductable , I'd go to some places that fix them an get some proffesional opinions and estimates

I think I am going to go to a place that does the fluid check an flush thing an get some advice as to wear to take it for front end work and ask if they can replace my fuel filter an see if that helps the motor problem
donno if I'll get outta here today an do that gotta shower do laundry decide what to wear tonight feed kid a couple of times domestic crap TOP UP MY PHONE MINUTES!!!!etc..........
