Muchas gracias pkd, and dkowench dont worry...anybody with wench in their name is supercool with CaptCliff! ....and..I just realized I want to change the phrase noble conscience with "exquisite corpse", which has several layers of meaning, all very appropriate. I am so afraid that the reader wont "understand" that I make dull compromises (in wording)that are either too obvious or just wrong...hey, I'm learning!! Stop worrying about what the reader understands or doesn't understand. YOU have to understand it and appreciate what you're saying. If YOU dont, then nobody will. There, you've just completed Poetry Lesson II. Bring an apple next time you come to class. Or a margarita will do. |

oh yeah, one more thing...y'all know Chinese Emperor Qin's terra-cotta army....8000 beautifully detailed ceramic soldiers buried with him for his protection. If something happens to me...I want to be buried with 8000 clay figurines in the likeness of Katie, Denise, and Alicia. MsWiz, as always thanks for the reminder. I didnt expect poetry to so quickly challenge my unfinished business (can we spell codependence), but I welcome any creative/ therapeutic endeavor that doesnt charge $200 for 30 minutes, just grunts intermittently and then writes a prescription for mind numbing drugs. Margaritas on the other hand..if made correctly and with positive intention...can be a panacea!
