I thought I would start us out easy today, with a phrase challenge, the rules are as follows: you must use the phrase either in your title or the actual poem. The poem can be any length or style.
The Phrase is: rooms of the world I will post my answer to this challenge shortly. Have fun everyone. Oh and only real poets should comment, no slamming or flaming rude comments allowed here on this challenge please. Thank you, Nica Bane, aka inkraven86 |

Rooms of the World-my challenge piece
Glass shattered my expectations in these rooms of the world I reside in when I did something to exert my mind past the vast expanses of the other month on the line I had eight hours that would soon turn winter into ashes for it is like a focused locust like being out at nightclubs for three days and than looking up at the skies wondering where my days, life, love for myself went, and then he called me and the way water issues forth aliveness in your center it was like I was born again without the birth, as if my heart were saying, "Demand a Miracle!" so that I could wash my stones away to show the truth I brought back from Hades, so that no jaded hate remained beneath my soul, Go ask Alice, she knows all about that, my sick burning veins screamed in unison, perfect and sinful Alice, soothing sleep in my stumbling pathos, "Read my whole body." I had said so many times, like a lantern without the pressure to shine, there goes the fulcrum of my mind resuming for him the game, the name of desperate needs, for the sound of love from his voice. Room of my world
my padded cell of hell trapped without a key or a chance of them setting me free to see the world that revolves around the answer that will make me well enough too walk with no pain or evil thoughts in my brain constantly feeling what i felt before i tighten the belt around my neck naked scared and insane failing time and time again to commit the sin that would free me from what keeps me from the Rooms of the World |

Whatever makes you think that question was a "bad thing?" It was simply a question. Dont read more into it than it was. Life is too short to be writing someone else's script. <<---moving on now |

I challenge the challenge
pushing back through the rooms of the world i reshape the shards contract the expanse of these vaunted expectations and reside between the spaces of the rooms That place where pendulum stoppes and wind has no voice, yet all must heed. Even i must stop............mid-sentence making no reverie,no breath within breath. To breathe, to cause ripples on still water, would give me away. Not this time! I too have faced the gates of Hell, then faced away again. Emptied the stone from my shoe only to have them refill 10 fold. And Alice was a friend of mine, but dark hole she has chosen this time, has swallowed her for the last. I no longer hear her voice calling, in this place between the rooms of the world. |

Life is too short to be writing someone else's script. <<---moving on now When I said real poets, I did not mean it like it sounded, what I meant was, I did not want flaming or negative posts, like cruel referances to other peoples works, we are all poets in one way or another, we are all creative in one or another, I meant to invite all, I suppose I should rephrase it than, hmmm, suggestions would be good, perhaps you can help me, will you please help me reword it? |

Thank you very much PDA, I will do that, but it would seem I will have to post an entire new challenge to do so, I cannot edit my original post, there is no edit in it, smiles, perhaps when I return with a challenge, it will be more fun, may your days be blessed all who came here, smiles v |
